A newly completed oceanfront estate in Golden Beach, Florida, near the "Billionaire Bunker," sold for $69.5 million in September, setting a single-family sales record for the exclusive town — and the mystery buyer may be the world's second-richest man. Property records reviewed by Fox News Digital show the 17,500-square-foot home at 255 Ocean Boulevard was purchased by Delaware-based Meridian Coast LLC, which sources familiar with the transaction told The Real Deal is tied to Jeff Bezos. If confirmed, the Jeff Bezos mansion would add a beach house to one of America's most-watched property portfolios. ## Jeff Bezos mansion linked to Florida record sale The rumored Jeff Bezos mansion is a seven-bedroom, 12-bathroom house on a 0.7-acre lot with a guest house, pool, spa and 100 feet of waterfront. The Jeff Bezos mansion hit the market in February 2026 at $88.5 million, was reduced to $79.5 million over the summer, and the Jeff Bezos mansion closed in September at $69.5 million — roughly $19 million below the original ask, according to The Real Deal. The all-cash sale set a record for single-family homes in Golden Beach. The Jeff Bezos mansion was sold by an affiliate of Treo Construction, managed by developer Ricardo Halfen, which paid $10.7 million for the property in 2021 before building the new estate. Douglas Elliman's Dina Goldentayer held the listing; Hillary Hertzberg and Jill Eber of the Jills Zeder Group at Coldwell Banker represented the buyer. The buyer of record, Meridian Coast LLC, has not disclosed its principals, and no representative for Bezos has confirmed his involvement. "I can't speak to whether Jeff Bezos is involved in this particular transaction, but from a real estate perspective, the acquisition would make sense for someone with an existing footprint on Indian Creek," Devin Kay of The Exclusive Group at Douglas Elliman told Fox News Digital. "It's about lifestyle diversification," added Jordan Karp, Miami's No. 9 agent by sales, noting that Golden Beach is the only Miami-area neighborhood offering true oceanfront homes sitting directly on the beach with absolute privacy. ## Jeff Bezos mansion would join Indian Creek holdings The purchase would fit the pattern of Bezos's acquisitions on Indian Creek Island — the guarded enclave nicknamed the "Billionaire Bunker" — where he spent a combined $234 million on three waterfront properties between 2023 and 2024. The Jeff Bezos mansion would give him direct oceanfront living that the bayfront Indian Creek properties cannot offer. His parents, Mike Bezos and the late Jackie Bezos, purchased two waterfront homes in Coral Gables for $78 million in 2022. The alleged Jeff Bezos mansion purchase, routed through Meridian Coast LLC, would push the Amazon founder's South Florida property spending well past $300 million in the "Billionaire Bunker" corridor. As Kay noted, the region's billionaire buyer pool has expanded considerably, with international business owners, hedge fund executives, technology founders and multi-generational families quietly acquiring some of the most valuable real estate in the region. The sale lands in a South Florida luxury market reshaped by an influx of wealth in recent years. The small oceanfront town north of Miami has drawn tech founders, hedge fund executives and multi-generational families seeking privacy and direct beach access. Record prices have become routine along the coast, and all-cash deals through Delaware LLCs are now standard practice for buyers who value discretion. Whether or not Bezos is behind the Delaware company, the $69.5 million closing shows how far the top of the market has climbed. Bezos, the founder of Amazon and Blue Origin, has steadily expanded his Florida footprint since making the state his primary residence. The estate, newly completed by its developer seller, spans 17,500 square feet with seven bedrooms and 12 bathrooms, plus a guest house, pool, spa and 100 feet of waterfront — amenities suited to a buyer accustomed to Indian Creek's bayfront compounds.
