Audi India has launched the new generation Audi Q3 in India at an introductory ex-showroom price of Rs 51.99 lakh. The Audi Q3 is the third generation of the model, and it replaces the previous generation Q3 in the entry level luxury SUV segment. Bookings had opened on September 1, 2026, for Rs 1 lakh, and deliveries began from October 17, according to reports.
It is offered in two variants, Nova and Zenith. The Nova is priced at Rs 51.99 lakh ex-showroom, and the Zenith is listed at Rs 55.99 lakh ex-showroom. Both variants use the same engine and drivetrain, so the price gap covers equipment differences. The launch took place on October 16, 2026, during the festive season.
Audi Q3 engine and drivetrain
The Audi Q3 has a 2.0 litre TFSI turbo petrol engine producing 204 PS and 320 Nm. It is paired with a seven speed S tronic dual clutch automatic gearbox, and quattro all wheel drive is standard on both variants. Audi claims a 0 to 100 km/h time of 7.1 seconds and a top speed of 229 km/h.
The Audi Q3 is locally assembled at the Skoda Auto Volkswagen India plant in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra. Production of the model started there on September 25, 2026. Local assembly supports availability in the Indian market and keeps the model in line with the company's India manufacturing plan.
It measures 4,531 mm long, 1,859 mm wide and 1,623 mm high, with a wheelbase of 2,681 mm. Outside, it has a larger Singleframe grille, a split headlamp setup with daytime running lights above the main lamps, and 18 inch alloy wheels. At the rear, split LED tail lamps are connected by a full width light strip, with an illuminated Audi logo.
Audi Q3 cabin and equipment
Inside, the Audi Q3 has a curved digital layout with a 12.8 inch touchscreen and an 11.9 inch digital instrument display. The cabin has a panoramic sunroof, Level 2 driver assistance, a 360 degree camera with an auto park function, powered and ventilated front seats, a powered tailgate, wireless charging and three zone climate control, according to reports from the launch.
The Zenith variant adds Digital Matrix LED headlights, a head up display, a 12 speaker SONOS sound system, progressive steering and nine airbags. The Nova covers the core equipment, while the Zenith adds the extra technology and safety items. Buyers comparing the two variants will weigh those additions against the Rs 4 lakh price difference.
The Audi Q3 competes with the BMW X1 and the Mercedes-Benz GLA in India, along with the Mini Countryman. Its standard quattro all wheel drive sets it apart from rivals that use front wheel drive in this segment. The luxury SUV is positioned for buyers who want a compact premium SUV with everyday usability and strong performance. Prices are introductory ex-showroom figures, and on road prices will vary by city.
Audi India has described the Rs 51.99 lakh figure as introductory. The Zenith is listed at Rs 55.99 lakh on Audi's myAudi configurator, though the launch release quotes only the Nova price, according to Car4You. Deliveries began immediately after launch, with the first handovers from October 17, according to reports. Buyers should confirm the price at booking and request a written quotation from an authorised dealer for on road costs, which vary by city.
