Madhya Pradesh jobs: 20,000 education posts

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Wednesday distributed 954 compassionate appointment letters to eligible candidates in the School Education Department and announced 20,000 new appointments in the department. The Madhya Pradesh jobs announcement came at a programme at Ravindra Bhawan in Bhopal, organised for distributing compassionate appointment orders and training newly appointed employees. The programme was held on October 21.

The Chief Minister symbolically handed over appointment letters to 11 candidates at the event and presented commendation certificates to officers and employees of the department for outstanding work. "A programme to distribute 954 compassionate appointments to eligible candidates by the School Education Department has been held today. Providing such a large number of appointments by a single department is an excellent example of seriousness, promptness and sensitivity in resolving compassionate appointment cases," Yadav told reporters after the event.

Madhya Pradesh jobs: the 954 appointments

The 954 candidates include 661 Assistant Grade-3 employees, 31 primary teachers and 262 Class-IV employees, appointed through the compassionate appointment system. The announcements are significant for young people preparing for government jobs in Madhya Pradesh.

Under the compassionate appointment system, dependents of government employees who die in service are appointed to government jobs. Yadav said the pain of losing a family member can never be fully overcome, and that during such a difficult time, compassionate appointment provides financial support to affected families and helps them reorganise their lives.

The Chief Minister said around 300 compassionate appointment cases were still pending and expressed confidence that they would be resolved by the end of the year as promotions create vacancies in the department. He added that 15,000 appointments had already been completed in the department as part of recruitment across government departments, and announced that fresh recruitment drives would be initiated for the new posts. While 11 candidates received their letters symbolically on stage, the programme covered all 954 eligible candidates, and the remaining letters were distributed through the department.

Madhya Pradesh jobs and school infrastructure

On infrastructure, Mohan Yadav said the government had inaugurated buildings for 369 Sandipani schools and approved 200 new Sandipani school buildings. The Tribal Affairs Department will also construct 200 such school buildings. Madhya Pradesh currently has 369 Sandipani Vidyalayas in operation, and the government will now work towards preparing buildings for 400 new Sandipani Vidyalayas, through which the state plans to expand academic facilities in schools.

"Our government is working with the highest priority on school education," he said. "Today, Sandipani schools have become several times better than those of private schools. We are all ready to do everything possible for our younger generation. Let us work together, under the leadership of the Prime Minister, to take the state forward towards becoming number one," the Chief Minister added. The state government said the decisions would strengthen the education system and create new employment opportunities. The announcements are aimed at young people preparing for government service in Madhya Pradesh, and at strengthening staffing in schools across the state.
